Clos de Gat Red Wine vinification process is traditional, where grapes, after sorting and crushing, are transferred for ‘wild yeast’ fermentation to open tanks. The wine is then aged for 20 months in new French oak barrels and bottled unfiltered.
Clos de Gat Red Wine has a deep dense purple color. On the nose it is intense and complex, subtlety oaked, with classical Syrah characteristics of warm spicy, peppery and red fruit aromas. On the palate the wine is full bodied, beautifully balanced with good acidity, superbly structured with smooth well integrated tannins. The finish is long, complex and elegant.
